RETURN POLICIES
Online Orders
For online orders, unopened and unused skincare may be returned by mail within 14 days of the delivery date for exchange or in-store credit only (no refunds).

Item(s) must be new, unopened, seals intact, unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.

Opened, used, or damaged products cannot be returned, including perfumes.

Perfumes are final sale.

A restocking fee applies to approved returns: 20% for Biologique Recherche and 10% for all other brands.

If a gift with purchase was earned, it must also be returned.

Return shipping costs (and optional parcel insurance) are the responsibility of the customer. If you prefer to arrange a drop-off return to The Essence, this may also be arranged.
To initiate a return, please email info@theessenceinc.com with your original order number and reason for return. Once received, The Essence will inspect the item(s) for return approval. Upon approval, you’ll receive an email confirming your return and next steps.
Important: Sales are final on all technology devices (NuFACE & Omnilux), Cryo Sticks, dry brushes, gift cards, perfumes, and sale items.

Damaged Items:
Quality packaging and delivery is always important for us. If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please email info@theessenceinc.com with an image and description of your issue (please include "Damaged Item" in your subject line) and we will be happy to resolve it.
SKIN REACTIONS
In the unlikely event that a skincare product has caused a reaction, please discontinue use of the product immediately and email info@theessenceinc.com with an image of your reaction and a description of what happened. Please also list other skincare you were using in combination with the product when the
reaction occurred. Sometimes self-prescribed skincare can result in layering products that don't work well together, while other times it can simply be a skin allergy. We will work together to determine the cause of your reaction, and a return or exchange will be arranged if needed.
TECHNOLOGY GLITCHES
If your skincare technology is not working correctly, please email info@theessenceinc.com with your original order number and include a description of what the issue is. Please note the warranty period of your item. We will troubleshoot the issue or direct you to the correct contact to assist you.
