SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping within Canada
We offer free Canada Post Expedited Parcel™ shipping when you spend $185 CAD and up (excluding discounts and tax).

On orders under $185 CAD, a shipping cost of $20 CAD is applied at checkout (excluding discounts and tax).

Shipping to the United States
We ship to the United States. A flat shipping fee of $35 USD is applied at checkout on all orders shipped to the U.S.

Orders shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes or brokerage fees on delivery. These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.

We often offer special rates as part of a promotion or seasonal campaign, where different terms may apply.

*Delivery times can be affected by the recipient's address, season, weather, strikes, customs processing or other factors.

Winter shipping note
Some items in glass bottles (such as Hale Derma 2 oz and 4 oz) are available for in-store pickup only during the winter months to prevent breakage.

IN-STORE PICKUP
Free pickup is available from The Essence, 33 Nashville Rd, Kleinburg, Ontario. Place your order online and choose Pickup at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready, usually within 24 hours. Same-day pickup can be arranged if items are in stock.

For in-store pickup of online orders, clients must present valid ID matching the billing information. We reserve the right to request proof of ID by email for online orders.

All taxes are subject to applicable federal and provincial tax legislation.
